CREATE YOUR OWN ORGAN

Organ literature, hymns as well as anthem accompaniments require a wide range of sonorities. The Platinum Edition offers the choice of many more solo reed stops such as the Corno di Basetto and English Horn, chorus reeds such as the Trombone and Trompettes and high-pressure reeds such as the Tuba and State Trumpet. No American Classic organ is authentic without a variety of English and French reeds to play composers such as Stanford, Parry, Franck and Dupré. The Platinum Edition offers this capability with the click of a mouse. In fact, you can create and save as many settings and styles as you would like with our comprehensive voicing capability.

CLASSIC SOUND MODULE
Forty-eight additional voices are integrated into the Rembrandt series (except R-370) with a variety of orchestral solo instruments, as well as many different strings, percussions and a number of additional organ stops. All have been chosen with care and have the quality you expect, justifying the Johannus name. With the on-board CSM-128 Classic Sound Module, you become the conductor of a magnificent orchestra.

MULTI-CHANNEL AUDIO
Johannus Rembrandt organs offer up to 58 channels (digital-to-analog converters) for perfect sound quality through our new standard Nine Channel audio system. This perfection is accomplished through the use of a high-power subwoofer and eight wide-range channels centered around a carefully engineered crossover. You actually hear a Principal sound emanate from a different source with each key in the keyboard through our c-c# divided windchest layout and re-engineered bass crossover.

EXPRESSION SHUTTER CHARACTERISTICS
When you close the expression shoes on a pipe organ the shutters will rotate toward a closed position and the sound will change character as the volume decreases with the upper harmonics being affected more than the lower frequencies. The complete closing of the shutters has a special effect. Nothing is more thrilling than a full Swell with the shutters completely closed! These characteristics have been faithfully recreated.

TEMPERAMENTS
Twelve temperaments can be selected. Standard are Equal, Young II, Valotti, Kirnberger II, Kirnberger III, Neidhardt III, Werckmeister III, Meantone 1/6, Meantone 1/5, Meantone ¼ and the Pythagorean temperament. The twelfth temperament is a custom temperament which you can design with custom note-by-note tuning to meet your unique musical requirements.

NEW AND EXPANDED CAPTURE FEATURES
One hundred capture memory levels are now standard on the Rembrandt series – providing up to a 4800 different memory settings. Also new is the MEMORY SEQUENCER piston that, when activated, allows the player to start to step up memory settings in a sequence from any level and any piston pre-selected as the starting point. To step up you can push any one of the eight general thumb pistons or toe studs.

KEYBOARD TRANSFER AND SENSITIVITY
The great French style consoles have the Grand Orgue keyboard at the lowest position and the Positiv keyboard at the second position. With the KEYBOARD TRANSFER thumb piston you can exchange the Great and Choir keyboards to your personal preference. It is now possible to program each keyboard to be more sensitive in the upper part of the travel of the keys or to have a lower contact point to recreate the slight natural action delay found in some pipe organs.

3-D REVERB
Place yourself in a cathedral with our new 3-D reverb system. Any acoustical environment you desire can be created with independent volume and length controls on the organ. This 3-D reverb system is a proprietary design of the Johannus R&D laboratories in Ede, The Netherlands.

ACTIVE PIPE RESPONSE
Perhaps the most difficult effect in the pipe organ is the response of a pipe when you repeatedly use the same key. The winded pipe will change in response and speech time with each repetition. This complex effect is a vital part of the interpretation of music on a pipe organ. Johannus R&D has successfully implemented up to 5 different chiff samples per note, depending on the length of the pipe.

EXPANDED CONTROL MENU
New on the 2005 Platinum Edition is the expanded control menu with eight control levels. 1. Programmable Midi. 2. CSM-128. 3. Temperaments. 4. Keyboard Modes. 5. Reset Procedures. 6. Data Offload. 7. Demo Songs. 8. Pipe Stop Settings.
